Details: | SUMMARY: Routine Coliform Sample taken September 8, 2015 was positive DETAILS: The Drinking Water Program staff was not able to contact KCEHD immediately so CaseI also discussed with Shirley the need for a trained backup person to help when Thurman is not available. Below is contact information on the small water system operator training classes. The Oregon Association of Water Utilities (OAWU) is currently offering the course. For class times and locations, please visit OAWU y Lyon (DWP-Springfield Office) had called and talked with both Shirley and Thurman before I was able to talk with Shirley Routine Coliform Sample taken September 8, 2015 was positive for both total and fecal coliform. The Drinking Water Program staff was not able to contact KCEHD immediately so Casey Lyon (DWP-Springfield Office) had called and talked with both Shirley and Thurman before I was able to talk with Shirley ACTION NEEDED: Repeat sample sites:1. The well prior to disinfection- Marked Triggered (TG)2. The same tap where the initial sample was taken – 23946 S 7th Ave OS faucet Marked Repeat (RP)3. Take three additional samples in the distribution system following the Coliform Sampling Plan that the consultant developed for you. Also mark these samples Repeat (RP). Be sure that the chlorine residual at each sample collection point is measured and recorded on the sample collection form. The results of the triggered and repeat samples will determine additional follow up action. | ||
