| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The London Water Company owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to approximately 50 people through 22 connections. Water from Beaver Creek is treated by a pressure filter/cartridge filter plant prior to disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. The system has two 9000 gallon reservoirs that are used for storage and for contact time. The Circuit Rider was contacted by Jon Woodward to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoirs before the first user.Met with water system on site to determine most likely maximum hourly demand. Performed tracer testing at lower flow as requested by water system. Investigated methods for guaranteeing that the delivered flow will not exceed the tested flow. Corresponded with DWP staff. ACTION NEEDED: The tested flow was not as high as DWP staff recommends. Continue working with water system on achieving adequate contact time. | ||
