| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine total coliform positive for sample date 10/21/15 DETAILS: The operator contacted me about what to do after the coliform detection. The system treats with UV. I let him know to take a source sample at the well & 4 repeat samples in the distribution system. I let him know to be sure to get samples in each of the two buildings. Each building has its own UV unit. He said he would be sure to take the follow up samples. He also indicated that the UV lights have been replaced this year. Spoke to the principal of the school as well. I let him know that if he wanted to use bottled water it was his call. I could not require the use of bottled water or boil water for only total coliform. He said they would use bottled water to be on the safe side. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow ups & respond as necessary | ||
