Details:	SUMMARY: 5out of 5 TR Coli + DETAILS: System had discovered that well #5 maybe the source of the contamination. Rich with Skyridge sent the attached explanation:• On Aug 11th, a triggered test on well #5 was positive for coliforms. Well #2 was negative. • The system was shock chlorinated on Aug 23 by pumping chlorine into well #5 at a concentration and volume sufficient to chlorinate the entire system (calculations and supervision by Oregon Water Service). • On 9/22, I collected two special samples and was surprised to find that well # 5 was positive again.• On 9/30 the system was again shock chlorinated and well #5 taken off line. On 10/1, Dan of OWS came out and used a chlorination flushing procedure on Well #5 (circulating a high concentration of chlorinated water from the well through the waste valve of the well, through a hose directed down through the well cap. This water in excess of 100 PPM chlorine was circulated for about 1 hr. The well we then shut off and left for about 30 hrs. The next day is was flushed through the pump house to a waste valve and out to ground (all the while isolated from the fill line and well #2).• On 10/2, Kerstin checked for chlorine at a tap in our house, It was at 1.05 PPM.• On 10/9, Kerstin tested for chlorine at the same tap, and it was not detected. She then collected 5 temp routines.• One sample, 27846 Lady Slipper Loop, came back positive...all others were negative. ACTION NEEDED: see next
