| Details: | SUMMARY: Unresolved E. coli / Total Coliform Alert DETAILS: The City of Hubbard received notice from waterlab today that two more samples have total coliform detections. The boil water requirement will remain. Hubbard has acquired two larger chlorine pumps. Their plan is to install a pump today and increase the chlorine residual to 0.5 ppm. They are continuing to flush the system as well. I recommended that they take additional samples throughout the distribution to determine the extent of the contamination. They are also contacting all of their water customers again to give them an update on the situation. I emailed them a copy of the Level 2 Coliform Investigation Form checklist to work through. ACTION NEEDED: Boil water in effect until clean samples are obtained | ||
