Details: SUMMARY: Septic contamination of nearby wells DETAILS: Neighbor complains of her nearby, contaminated well.
According to Oregon Law (OAR 603-025-0020 paragraph 10: Waste Disposal) all retail establishments shall have adequate disposal of sewage and all discharge of the sewage shall also be approved by DEQ or local County Health Dept.

Marquam Store can only sell prepackaged foods until they progress through the sign off process on the septic system. At that time we will request another water sample from inside the facility. Should they want to do activities like:
make ice,
use water for soda fountain, or
depending on the number of connections to the well
we will then evaluate the need to activate the water system with Drinking Water Program or not. ACTION NEEDED: Contact for questions:
