| Details: | SUMMARY: Update on new well status DETAILS: Kevin notified me that the new well has been drilled. The well driller followed the proposed plans and did not encounter any difficulties with construction or well yield. The well does not have a pump, and there is no piping yet from the well to the store. I reviewed the supplemental items outlined in the May 5, 2016 site plan evaluation letter, required prior to DWS issuing approval for the well: well log, wellhead photos, water quality test resutls from the well, etc. Kevin is confident the store can complete construction fo the well by June 30th, and report clean source water coliform bacteria samples by July 31st, the dates in the bi-lateral compliance agreement. ACTION NEEDED: DWS to work with store on plan review of the new well, and check in on progress prior to the June 30th deadline in the BCA. DWS to remind Dept of Agriculture that system needs to be submitting monthly chlorine residual records to DWS to demonstrate interim 4-log viral disinfection of the existing spring. | ||
