Details: | SUMMARY: More Follow-up Testing Results and Complaint From User DETAILS: Mosier had Boil Water notice on 6-3-16.Boil water was issued due to lack of pressure when fire suppression depts pulled water out of the main. City Mgr. placed “boil water” as a precaution on the system.Phone call received 6-14-16 from John Worsley, stated that his wife, Amy, was sick due to consuming the water. I spoke to the complainant and gave info on the day of accident testing that was TC- (6-3-16) subsequent testing showed good chlorine residuals and only one sample was TC+ and it was located on a dead end line down on Rock Creek which was evacuated due to the accident. Boil was lifted, follow-up testing showed another TC+ at the same site.John stated that he accidently drank water when the boil water was in place and he had some gastro distress. Amy was sicker than he was and suffered gastroenteritis for multiple days. She went to the Dr. but no stool sample was taken and the Dr. suggested that it was due to the water.I explained the TC+ results and follow up testing to complainant.Testing taken 6-15-16, two more samples taken on Rock Creek location. One sample at the same location as the first two TC+ BUT at a different sample tap and it was TC-, the apt bldg next door was also TC-. ACTION NEEDED: No further action at this time.System has completed a level 1 Coliform investigation, sent in by NCPHDOne bacteriological is due next month. |
