Details: | SUMMARY: WSS: Corrective Action Plan Submission DETAILS: Mr. Cowart submitted a corrective action plan that said:"…Sanitary Seal not watertight:1) The electrical conduit was fixed 2 days after your inspection. I will submit pictures with my final report after system has been shocked2) The well will be shock-chlorinated by 6/30 per attached procedure that was included with the report3) The well head cover and seal was fixed 2 days after your inspection. The well head will be properly reinstalled and sealed once we have shocked the system.No Raw Water Sample Tap:In contact with 2 different plumbing contractors to get bid on adding an isolated sample tap to the back water system pump. We will use the guidelines for a proper sample tap that you provided in your report. I plan to have this completed by July 31st.No Coliform Sampling Plan:Coliform Sampling Plan has been completed with a site map included. Sampling plan is attached to this report.Emergency Response Plan not completed:Plan has been completed as of 6/20 and is attached to this email…"We responded to the e-mail and said:"…Thank you for submitting your corrective action plan. Your proposed timeline is approvable under OAR: 333-061 and Hood River County Health Department approves your proposed corrective action plan… Thank you for completing the coliform sampling plan and the emergency/operations plan template…" ACTION NEEDED: We also said:"…Please submit photographic evidence of your final corrections (once complete). I have made a note that you will complete installation of the raw-water sample tap by 7/31/16. Please let us know if unforeseen circumstances cause a delay. It appears that sanitary seal will be resolved once the well is shock chlorinated and the well head is properly sealed (post chlorination)..." |
