| Details: | SUMMARY: Level 1 Coliform Investigation DETAILS: I called and spoke to Alan Mustain about the June 8, 2016 total coliform positive result taken from the 9th Green Ground Stand. He said that this line is a short dead end line that does not get any use. They periodically flush the line to keep the residual up, but at the time of the sample, the chlorine residual was not detectable. I recommended that they flush the line to keep the residual up. Alan said that he did not believe that repeats or triggered source samples had been taken and was working on completing a Level 1 Coliform Investigation as required by OAR 333-061-0078(2)(a). He asked about taking repeat samples and I said that at this point too much time had past, therefore, no repeat samples were required (the Level 1 Coliform Investigation is required to be completed). ACTION NEEDED: System to complete a Level 1 Coliform Investigation as required under OAR 333-061-0078 and report the results of the Investigation to us by August 10, 2016. 9th Green Ground Stand line to be flushed periodically to keep residual at a detectable level. Triggered source samples need to be taken from the wells with residual maintenance in use at the time of the coliform postive sample (wells 3, 9, and 10). Pruitt wells 5 and 6 were not in use. | ||
