| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed water system compliance DETAILS: I spoke with Nancy Shaw regarding conditions at the Locust Mobile Village water system and recent enforcement actions taken against her due to non-compliance at the water system. Ms. Shaw expressed her frustration at the technical nature of the administrative order and the difficulty understanding the document. She said it made her feel as if the Authority believes she hasnt taken any action to correct the violations at the water system. I explained that administrative orders are often complicated but it is a necessity because they are legal documents. We hope they lead to conversations with water system operators, cooperation and eventually compliance and were always prepared to do whatever we can to assist someone to comply with an order. I stated the most important thing right now is to ensure the chlorination system is working properly at the Locust water system. I also provided the phone number for the DWS circuit rider, HBH Consulting Engineers, in case Ms. Shaw needs help completing an application for funding for a new well. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
