| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response DETAILS: Received alert for TC positive result from a repeat sample collected on 9/14. Spoke with Scott. The TC positive sample was collected at a home downstream of the original positive. When the aerator was removed, there were rust particles on the screen, which indicated the galvanized piping in the home was corroding. The hot water heater in the home had been replaced recently. I advised Scott that since this was the third month with coliform detections, that we would likely be requiring the system to begin chlorinating full time. Advised that the circuit rider might be able to help plan for chlorination system installation. ACTION NEEDED: System to begin planning for installation of chlorination system. | ||
