| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine Samples Total Coliform Positive for Sample Date 9/12/16 DETAILS: I emailed the operator to let him know about the total coliform positives. I let him know to check the chlorine as it may be too old. I also asked him to let me know what is going on as the school year is starting back up. The operator emailed back to let me know that he & a tech from precision pump have been investigating the issue. He thinks that the problem is that the chlorinator is shutting off due to low output from the well into the reservoir. He is hoping the water table comes up soon with the rainy season. He has the teacher at the school checking chlorine residual & will sample again now that system is maintaining a residual. I let him know to take 3 routine samples in October. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples & respond as necessary. | ||
