Details: | SUMMARY: new well monitoring requirements DETAILS: The monitoring results as shown in Data Online did not clearly meet the requirements for a new source. I phoned Gary to sort it out. Gary says the 7/6/16 arsenic and nitrate samples were raw water from the new well, not from the entry point as it currently says. He also recently submitted a raw coliform sample from the well, but it was marked special so we did not receive the result. He will ask the lab to submit it to us to meet the requirement. The 9/2/16 plan review approval letter for the new well also requires a treated water nitrate sample. Gary says he also collected one of these recently, but I do not see the result posted yet in Data Online. The lab will check to see if they have one in process. ACTION NEEDED: I will ask DMCE to switch over the location of the 7/6/16 arsenic and nitrate samples from the entry point to well 2. When McGowan Lab submits the recent raw water coliform sample, I have asked them to make sure it says it is labeled as a source assessment sample from Well #2, SRC-AB. Will notify Rick Hallmark that Gary would like to change from 4-log compliance monitoring to basic chlorination with 12 months of source assessment sampling. That either-or choice was outlined in the 9/2/16 plan review letter. |
