| Details: | SUMMARY: FUNDING ASSISTANCE - IFA SIPP LOI DETAILS: The Lawson Acres water system supplies water to approximately 75 people through 27 connections. The water system has an aging package filtration plant which treats water from Cow Creek. Sodium hypochlorite is added to the treatment system prior to filtration. The water plant is aging and has some serious deficiencies. In addition, operation of the plant takes significant effort. The water system is revisiting possible connection to the City of Riddle as a solution for the long term needs of the Lawson Acres customers. The City water system is less than a mile from the Lawson Acres west tank. Assisted water system with the completion of the Letter of Interest for the IFA SIPP funding program. ACTION NEEDED: Assist with further planning or funding applications, as needed. | ||
