Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water notice - loss of pressure DETAILS: I received Phils 11/27 email at 8 am on 11/28, that the Association had issued a boil water notice on Saturday 11/26 due to a loss in positive pressure at the system. On Nov 24, a mudsliide caused a blockage from the two surface water springs to the plant. As the treated storage tank was low, system ran out of water on 11/24. Association able to get plant up and running on Nov 25. System restoring service pressure and chlorine residuals, and planning to take coliform samples on Nov 30, before consulting with DWS to discuss lifting the boil water notice. ACTION NEEDED: Association to follow best practices to restore service and obtain clean coliform samples prior to discussing lifting boil notice with DWS. 1/5/17. Phil White notified me that on December 2, 2016, clean coliform sample results were received from the lab and the boil water notice was lifted at that time. |
