Details: SUMMARY: Repeat Total Coliform Positive for Sample Date 6/9/14 DETAILS: After speaking with the operator it was discovered that the coliform positive site #30 is not a regular sample site. This site is not representative due to its intermittant & very low usage. The sample tap is also very close to the ground & easily contaminated. I have requested to DMCE that the repeat & routine positive coliform samples be invalidated due to the source sample & all other samples being absent for coliform. I let the system operator know to take a routine sample before the end of the month. This will give them a routine sample for the month of June as all of the previous samples will be invalidated.6-30-14- DMCE responded that the invalidation was approved. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples & respond as necessary.
