| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine ^ Source Total Coliform Positive for Sample Date 8/17/16 DETAILS: I performed a field visit. I spoke with the operator about the options for the water system. I let her know that the system will be likely needing to do an MPA due to continuous total coliform detections. We discussed options for the system. The water system serves a couple of restrooms that are open to the public. I let her know that they could close the restrooms to the public ^ not be a public water system. The system can go through the MPA process to determine if the well is GWUDI. Another option could be to self declare as GWUDI and start the process for surface water treatment. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples ^ respond as necessary. | ||
