| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Over 1/2 MCL DETAILS: I talked to Mary about the higher than normal nitrate. They had replaced the media in the nitrate filter this last fall and it is unusual to see the nitrate this high. The treatment normally keeps the level down around 3 ppm. Mary said they did have two power outages and thinks the system might not be back washing enough. She has a call into Oregon Water Services to look into the treatment system. ACTION NEEDED: Mary will follow up with her next quarterly sample. Upon two quarters at normal range nitrate sampling can return to annual. | ||
