| Details: | SUMMARY: Letter re: monthly SWT reports and calculating CT DETAILS: Have been trying to contact the new PWS contact, Ed Dyment, for weeks using the phone number we had been given, 541-572-0298. It just rings and rings with no way to leave a message. Instead, I am mailing a letter to the PO box for their Water District. The letter reminds them that the deadline to install surface water treatment is 10/5/17 and that they should be submitting the surface water treatment forms during the interim (the daily readings for turbidity, chlorine residual, temperature, pH and whether they met the CT requirement each day). The letter explains in detail how to complete the form. The form and CT tables were attached, as well as DWS May 2016 letter that laid out these interim requirements and the parameters for installing surface water treatment. So far, Bridge WD has been submitting the monthly form for 4.0-log inactivation of viruses, but not the form for 1.0-log inactivation of Giardia, a surface water parasite. ACTION NEEDED: Await contact from PWS. The water system database will be checking for monthly submission of SWT reports starting in August 2017. | ||
