| Details: | SUMMARY: OAWU did a site visit DETAILS: Heath Cokeley of OAWU went on site at 80 Acres on 8/31/17 to see their system. He met with the president (Don Pedro), the secretary (Kim Bishop), and another Board member. Heath will try to steer them to some appropriate SW treatment options. Sounds like there may be significant iron in their source water, so he is asking them to test for ferric and ferrous forms of iron. Iron and/or iron bacteria was a clogging problem for their cartridge or bag filters in the past. The small PWS is also likely to need assistance in financial and organizational capacity to install and maintain the treatment facilities. ACTION NEEDED: None for DWS at the moment. OAWU will begin looking at treatment options. PWS remains on a boil water notice. | ||
