| Details: | SUMMARY: Status of SW treatment DETAILS: Finally reached the new system contact, Ed Dyment, by phone. Had tried to reach since July with no luck, but they got the phone messaging fixed so now can leave a message, and by chance, he is also off work this week. He received our 7/27/17 letter. They cannot meet their 10/5/17 deadline for installing SW treatment because the USDA funding fell through. I suggested he get a hold of their engineer, Rob Henry, to see if the USDS application materials could be recycled for other funding options. Bridge does not currently have a meter for measuring turbidity, pH nor temperature, only chlorine. (They have been maintaining 4-log viral disinfection levels every day.) Suggested they get a hold of OAWU, since they are members, for help in getting those meters and perhaps board organizational help. They do not have many active board members right now. ACTION NEEDED: Ed will get back to me later this week after their Water District meeting. I will discuss next steps with DWS compliance and enforcement staff. I suggested to Ed that getting their daily monitoring set up for the SW parameters could make it easier to buy time to find new funding. | ||
