Details: SUMMARY: 2 excursions in distribution WQP monitoring DETAILS: I touched bases because of an Alert for 2 pH excursions during the water quality parameter monitoring in the distribution system (10 sites) that they conducted in August. The minimum pH for the entry points and the distribution are both set at 7.8. A water system can accrue up to 9 days of excursions within a 6-month period before there is a violation. However, Albany will not be doing any more distribution WQP monitoring for some time (years?), so not much possibility for more of these types of excursions during that timeframe. Albany will continue to monitor pH daily at the entry points. ACTION NEEDED: none
