| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic MCL Alert Follow Up DETAILS: I met with Mike on 9/19 to follow up on the arsenic detection from 8/30. Mike said he evaluated the treatment system and found the backflush mechanism not working properly. He has made repairs and now has the Tx being backflushed more frequently. He said he took a special sample and the result was 0.003 mg/l. He has since taken another sample for compliance. I told him that the WS may be required to monitor monthly for a period of time to demonstrate the treatment is reliably working to remove arsenic. A public notice was issued on 9/19 and a copy provided to me. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on compliance sample results and monitoring schedule. | ||
