Details: | SUMMARY: update on SWT reports and monitoring DETAILS: Daniel sent me a partially completed SWTR for January to take a look at. He began taking turbidity measurements as of Jan 1, and started pH and temperature readings as of January 8. He plugged those into the excel form just to show me. Given current conditions in January, it looks like they need a CT of around 36. Using the (very conservative) figure of 73 contact minutes gives them an actual CT of 43-44. Daniel asked if he can take the daily EP measurements from the final tank overflow line because there is no tap on the regular outgoing line. I said that if that is what he has to work with, it would be OK in the short term-- the sample tap issue will be taken care of when the new treatment is installed. Daniel had gone to the Myrtle Point water system to get help with the turbidimeter, though it does not sound like they calibrated the one he is using there. We are both encouraged about the upcoming meeting with RCAC to begin working with the District board. ACTION NEEDED: Continued feedback on the required daily monitoring and reports. I notified DMCE to remove the 2017 violations for no raw water samples from 2 of their springs - once Bridge WD changed to GWUDI status, that annual assessment sample schedule should have been removed. |
