| Details: | SUMMARY: LT2 violation DETAILS: I looked into an LT2 violation for their system last week. They had submitted the raw crypto and EC-positive results on time for February-- the violation was for not reporting raw turbidity. I contacted Jerre, who said their February results were submitted the same as the other months. Coos Bay receives the crypto and EC raw water monitoring results from their lab (Grants Pass), then Jerre sends those in to DMCE along with their required monthly treatment report. Coos Bay PWS monitors raw turbidity, but has not been reporting it each month. In the future, Jerre intends to record the turbidity from the crypto collection day on/with the crypto lab report before submittal. On 5/5/17 he sent me the raw water turbidity measurements for all the LT2 crypto collection dates for Round 2 so far (Oct 2016 to April 2017). On 5/18/17, I verified for Jerre that because this monitoring/ reporting violation is valid, it needs to be reported in their 2017 CCR. ACTION NEEDED: Forward the raw turbidity data to DMCE. Request the February violation be returned to compliance because all raw turbidity values have now been supplied - the February one (late), as well as the two subsequent months, both considered on time. | ||
