Comments: 1. A raw water sample tap needs to be installed, so that raw samples may be collected from the 1990 well. The recommended location is inside the wellhouse just before the chlorine feed. The existing pipe can be replaced with a pipe of a larger diameter, so that a sample tap can be safely connected to the pipe. Please see the photo for the suggested location at the end of the survey form, page 11. It is important to ensure that the sample tap be an unthreaded tap, so there are no cross connections from a source of non-potable water back into the wellhead through the raw sample tap, through a possible hose that might be connected to the sample tap.
