Source: --Well--Sanitary Seal on well head needs to be repaired or replaced ASAP. --Well lacks screened vent. --Septic tank within 50 feet of well. Treatment: --Pool test kit is an unapproved method to detect chlorine in drinking water. Distribution: --Replace the current #8 Watt cross-connection devices with approved backflow assemblies. Monitoring: --Coliform sampling not up to date. Monthly raw water samples should be taken ASAP for a period of 12 months. --Lead & Copper not current. Required 5 samples per 6 months not met. --Water system lacks coliform sampling plan. --Four consecutive quarters of SOC & VOC needed. DWP has only received 1st Quarter 2009 results. --Chlorine residuals not recorded as required. Management and Operation: --Operations and Maintenance Manual not present. --Emergency Repsonse Plan not completed. --No protocols for under-certified operator. --Water system operator not certified.
