Details: | SUMMARY: Questions Regarding Lead and Copper Joint Monitoring Plan DETAILS: On 3/14/05, I left a message for Dean Fritzke to call me back. On 3/16/05 I spoke with Dean Fritzke regarding the public notice issued for a lead exceedence, which occured in September of 2002 (lead 90th percentile was 0.018 mg/l, Copper 90th percentile was 0.04 mg/l). He said he would see if any water quality parameter testing was conducted after that exceedance for the purpose of determining appropriate corrosion control treatment. I faxed him a letter dated April 29, 2003 stating that public notice was issued and I asked him to send us a copy of that public notice. I also asked him about the percentage of water they get from the Tualatin Valley Water District (PWS #4100906) (Portland Water Bureau water (PWS #4100657)) verses the percentage of water they use from their wells. He said that during the warm months (roughly 3-4 months out of the year) they get as much as 50% of their water from Tualatin Valley Water District and the rest from the wells. During the cooler months, they get roughly 10% of their water from Tualatin Valley Water District and the rest from their wells. ACTION NEEDED: Awaiting copy of public notice and copies of water quality parameter testing if any. |
