Details: DETAILS: Jerry Kathan responded to a total coliform alert with a phone call to the operator and Coffey Lab. Both were concerned that the positive may have due to a new faucet where the sample was taken. Initially, this was treated a s a violation, but the system wanted to invalidate this initial sample and a replacement was taken on 8-18-06. I support this based on the discussion with the operator and lab. ACTION NEEDED: Submit written request for invalidation and reason and replacement result. If negative, continue one month routine sampling. If positive, take 4 repeat samples and 5 routines in September, 2006.
