Details: | SUMMARY: Chlorine residual DETAILS: I told Jack that due to the results of the Tracer Study performed by HBH Engineering (see previous contact reports) and the theoretical calculation of Contact Time based on plugged flow characteristics, it was determined that the City of Coburg would need a minimum chlorine residual of 0.74 mg/L at the first user or it can add storage or continue the on-going monthly coliform samples at the wells for 12 months to prove that chlorination is for residual maintenance purposes only. Jack said he will continue the monthly coliform samples, which he started in March, and he may boost the chlorine up to 0.74 in the meantime. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the 12 months of raw-water coliform samples (ending in March 2008). |
