Details: SUMMARY: Enforcement Action tracking follow up DETAILS: Spoke with Kalan Smith with Cascade Earth Sciences 541-812-6612 over the phone during the last week of August 2009. Kalan mentioned that modifications were made to the arsenic treatment plant and their drinking water now meets the requirements for arsenic levels. Testing done on 8/25/09 showed the arsenic level to be at 0.0057mg/L. This is below the MCL of 0.010 mg/L This meets the deadline of the state agreement. I have spoken with Brad Daniels and Gregg Baird at the state and they both agree the system will be returned to compliance. A letter from David Leland dated 9/3/09 sent to Linda Reeves confirms the system has fulfilled the activity specified in the compliance agreement. The expectation for the system now is o continue quarterly monitoring for arsenic. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on quarterly arsenic monitoring
