Details: | SUMMARY: Pressure complaint - Part 2 DETAILS: See Part 1 for more details. I advised Kevin that, given the duration of the power outage and the length of time that had passed between the power outage and when Philomath and I were notified of the loss of pressure at one or two homes, he could continue to follow their operating procedure and the residents should flush their lines as opposed to boil their water. Later in the day there were reports of blue water at two homes-- however one was only in the laundry where there was a blue shirt with whites. Philomath staff collected samples from several homes and did not visibly see blue in the water, nor did the spectrophotometer detect any color. See correspondence in file. ACTION NEEDED: Philomath will continue to troubleshoot the loss of pressure that happens in Starlight Village when there is a power outage or pump failure. They will install an event recorder or two and work with HBH to calculate what the pressure should be at the the homes when the booster pumps arent operating. |
