| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on positive repeat coliform DETAILS: 4 repeats were taken the source sample was negative but the 3 in distribution were all positive for coliform. The reservoir was batched chlorinated to under 1ppm. 2 gal of 6% in 150,000 gal. Possible issue here is that the reservoir is located at the far side of town at the opposite side of the system is the well. When water demand is on the water is satisfied by the reservoir water then the pump turns on to refill the reservoir. The water in the system moves back and forth in distribution and the reservoir water gets stagnant/old ACTION NEEDED: Public notice is needed send notification to the state locate another chlorinated water source closer to the well and have a direct line to the reservoir. | ||
