| Details: | SUMMARY: Use of emergency intertie with City of Carlton (PWS # 00171) DETAILS: Doug called to inform me that McMinnville will begin supplying the City of Carlton through the emergency intertie as Carlton is losing raw water in their raw water storage reservoir, in the next couple of days. McMinnville will account for the additional demand in their daily CT calculations, and flush the transmission line and collect updated pressure readings, as the intertie has not been used in many years. I left a voice message with both McMinnville and Carlton, that Carlton should collect a coliform bacteria sample after the intertie is activated to help determine how effective the cleaning and flushing of the intertie was. ACTION NEEDED: McMinnville to adjust daily CT calculations accordingly given Carltons additional demand. Carlton to collect a bacteria sample shortly after activation, and report use of intertie in 2015 consumer confidence report. DWS to provide support to both water sysetms with any regulatory questions. | ||
