| Comments: The deficiencies noted are as follows: 1. Install a combined filter effluent (CFE) turbidimeter. 2. Profile each filter quarterly (see example provided) and save the data in your files. 3. Assure all the turbidimeters are calibrated quarterly. 4. Calculate CT correctly. a. Measure pH, temperature & chlorine concentration post-reservoirs b. Have circuit rider assist with performing tracer study 5. Develop decision-making protocols for all operators. In addition, I have the following comments: · Monitor alkalinity in the raw water more regularly. We recommend at least weekly testing. · Make sure to maintain valid calibration standards for your turbidimeters. | ||||||
