| Details: | SUMMARY: Bear Creek House water system DETAILS: Curt asked me about getting a potable water supply to the Bear Creek house, near Dam #1. Currently they do not have potable water, only bottled water for drinking and creek water in the sinks and toilets (with signs saying non-potable). They are thinking of using a well that was drilled near there (initially for ASR??) as a potable source and wondered if that would make the house a separate public water system. I asked him to review the usage of the facility by looking at how many tours they have, how many employees use the house, etc., and we would figure out if they meet the Transient, state-reg category, or not a public water system at all. He also said the well water has high iron, so theyre not sure what to do. ACTION NEEDED: Curt will get back to me regarding number of people using the house on average, and well move forward from there. | ||
