| Details: | SUMMARY: Report of a total coliform positive routine sample and follow-up activities DETAILS: Kathy reported a positive total coliform routine sample collected 8/21/08 at 11:37 am. PWB received notice of positive 8/22/08 at 2:05 pm and reported it to the DWP. Repeat samples being collected today with analysis in the am tomorrow 8/23/08, and results likely sometime on Sunday 8/24. PWB will contact OERS to report any further positive samples, especially if an E. Coli positive. Ground disturbing activities in the area may be effecting material in piping, and dislodging biofilms to create positive sample. PWB has had other individual positive samples in general area during the summer, but <5% so no issues until now. ACTION NEEDED: PWB to contact DWP immediately if any coliform violation occurs. DWP to assist as needed, or if violation occurs. | ||
