Details: SUMMARY: Conference call with EPA re: variance DETAILS: A conference call included: Marie Jennings (EPA region 10), Stephanie Harris (EPA lab?), Harold Rogers (Portland EPA ops office), Yone Akagi, David Shaff, Chris Wanner, Ann Richter, possibly others (PWB), Jeff Rosen (lab consultant for PWB), Mike Messner, Carrie Miller (EPA lab), Mike Brickenmiller (EPA), Jen Clancy (lab), and Kari Salis (DWP). Discussion was held, but EPA was not prepared with answers. More to come. See memo with details in file. ACTION NEEDED: EPA agreed to providing a summary of the call by July 14th, and answers to the questions when Mike Finn gets back from vacation, hopefully within 10 days. A follow-up phone call would occur after the answers are provided in writing. PWB also hinted that they would be asking the state DWP for an extension of the 2014 deadline to have treatment installed, due to delays in their variance attempts.
